Public Health is also a multidisciplinary field of scientific research, where specialists from different branches of modern science combine their efforts for development of methods for maintenance and improvement of the health of population.
The objectives of practical activity in the area of public health include investigation and assessment of the health status of the population, differences in health status between population groups, identifation and understanding its determinants and development of means and strategies to influence the determinants of population health.
